I am not sure that I understand how themes and templates work in WordPress. Does the templates belong to the themes? And if you want other templates than those in the theme, is it not possible?

A theme is the whole look and feel of your site.
A template is an individual layout often found within themes but can also be found in plugins.

Does that help clarify?

Thank you very much. I just searched for templates and plugins, but I only find a lot of codes, which I don’t feel safe doing any of. Can you recommend a website where I can find templates for plugins without using code? My theme does sadly not have any templates.
