I’ve looked and I haven’t come across a related post yet. We use Dreamweaver templates to build our sites and in WP builds prior 1.5, we’ve been able to ‘slot’ the WP code into an editable region of a templated page.
In 1.5, it looks like it should be easier because there’s only one line that needs to go in the main index page, but for some reason none of the templated page code after
/* Short and sweet */ define(‘WP_USE_THEMES’, true); require(‘./wp-blog-header.php’);?>
is rendered in the broswer (IE and Firefox). I think it has something to do with the way wp-blog-header.php works because nothing in the theme include files seems like it would just stop loading the page.
I can get around the page by copying everything below the above code into the footer.php, but doing that breaks the template, which I’d like to avoid.
Anyone have experience with this problem? I feel like there’s probably a line I could insert into the blog-header file if I was more adept at PHP.
