After installing the latest otter plugin update 1.7.5 my section blocks aren’t supported anymore.

Rollback has no positive effects, the message “your website doesnt support the “themeisle-blocks/advanced-blocks”. You can edit it in HTML” still appears in editing mode.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @sascharupp,

That’s a weird one. Would it be possible for you to check the console of your browser and reload the editor to see if there are any errors there?

This article might help you on how to find your browser’s console: https://balsamiq.com/support/faqs/browserconsole/

Thanks for the quick reply! I hope that helps

    Hey @sascharupp,

Weird, that shouldn’t happen. Is it also happening on new posts or is that only appearing on existing posts?

Have you tried reinstalling the plugin?

    Thread Starter sascharupp

    (@sascharupp)

I can’t even choose the otter section block when I try to add new blocks to a new post or page.

    Deactivation / uninstall / re-install doesn’t fix the problem.

I definitely broke while updating from 1.7.4 to 1.7.5. I have another website running 1.7.4 and everything is fine.

@sascharupp That’s unusual. We tested it many times and it seems to be working fine on our side, so there might be a plugin/theme conflict.

Would it be possible for you to create a staging site from your website and let us know (not here but thru our website)?

If not, can you send us a list of all the active plugins and the active theme on your website so we could try to reproduce it on our end?

    Thank you!

Both is possible. How do I contact you? Through contact form on https://themeisle.com/contact/ ?

    Hi,
I have the same problem. Each time I update 1.7.5., all is broken on the website and all blocks disappear. Only Mansonry appears in Otter section. What can I do? I’ve desactivated, but nothing changes.

You can do that or you can also email me directly at hardeep@themeisle.com so it gets directly to me.

Please reply here once you’ve send the email and I’ll check it tonight and see what might be causing it.

    Thank you!

    E-Mail is sent. Thx.

Please share an update when you manage to track down the issue. Facing the same problem.

Later edit: my issue was cache related. after a couple for force refreshes, it loaded ok.

@fuchinran Can you also try to clear your browser cache and see if that helps? And are you able to add blocks to the new pages? One last thing, which version of WP are you using? Thank you!

Caching related in my case, too. Had to clear and refresh several times.

@sascharupp I’ll mark this as resolved so anyone else facing the same issue reads this. 🙂
