Themed Profile Redirecting to wp-admin

    Hi Jeff –

    Having an issue with the Themed Profile setting. Here’s what is happening:

    • When accessing the themed profile page (/profile) with the Themed Profiles setting turned on, the user is redirected to wp-admin (dashboard). Attempting to access wp-admin/profile.php also redirects back to wp-admin (dashboard)
    • Turning the Themed Profiles setting off allows for access to wp-admin/profile.php, but going to the themed profile page (/profile) still redirects to wp-admin
    • Turning off TML plugin completely allows for access to the themed profile page (/profile) but of course just the TML shortcode appears

    Do you have any thoughts as to what might cause this behavior?

    As always, your work on TML is much appreciated!

    Any other plugins active? Try disabling them and see if the problem persists.

    Thanks for the follow-up Jeff. This thread references the same issue with the profile page redirect which seems to be a conflict with the All In One WP Security plugin which is active on my site as well.

    Deactivating the AIOWPS plugin resolved the profile redirect conflict with TML.

    Nothing jumping out in the AIOWPS changelog that would serve as a starting point for understanding what is going on. Next step will be to roll back to a previous version of AIOWPS plugin to see if the issue persists there which would help narrow down the issue.

    Thanks for identifying AIOWPS as the culprit for this. I’m experiencing this same issue. It’s causing a redirect loop when trying to go to a non-admin profile page. Hopefully someone can figure out how to fix it.
