# Themed profile problem

 * I’ve just taken over the maintenance of a site that uses the Themed Profiles 
   feature of Theme My Login. It’s using a custom profile-form.php, and it’s doing
   something weird. I think it was meant to be a password strength meter, but nowhere
   in the code is there and HTML or Javascript to insert this meter.
 * This has been driving me crazy for the last hour or so. The theme was out of 
   date, so I updated it to the latest version, but I’m still getting this weird
   behavior.

 * After you updated the theme, did you replacce the custom `profile-form.php`? 
   If you need that, I’d suggest updating it with the current code from TML’s `profile-
   form.php`.

 * Thanks, Jeff. I’ve just gotten back to this, and did what you suggested, and 
   I’ve now gotten this to work. I think the big problem was that the previous developer
   did not want to allow the user to change their nickname, but it wasn’t being 
   passed as a hidden field.
