# Theme ZIP files not installing

 * I am having trouble installing third-party theme ZIP files on a new WordPress
   install.
    When I upload the ZIP file, I get a WordPress Failure Notice page with
   the message: Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.
 * I have used these theme ZIP files on other WordPress installations with no problem.
 * Do I need to reinstall WordPress?

 * Check that you are uploading the actual theme zip file, and it’s not a zip file
   that contain the theme zip file together with other stuff.
 * Otherwise try uploading the theme manually via FTP. See [http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes)
