I’ve set up five pages (About, Blog, Contact, Home, Services); they appear at the bottom of my header bar. This is my website: http://www.admissionsessaycoach.com. I seem to have only a choice of alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order. I want to put them in the following order: Home, Services, About, Blog, Contact. How do I do this? (I am a total newcomer to WordPress, and know nothing of coding, but am no technophobe, either.) Many thanks. I NEED TO GET THIS UP AND RUNNING as soon as I can.

  • You should be able to drag/drop the menu items in the menu screen:

WPyogi: Thank you so much! I couldn’t drag and drop, but I did go to the Menus page, and was able to fix things that way. For the purposes of anyone else who has this problem, This is what I did: Created a menu by giving it a name. I chose the word “Primary”. Then I went to the box on the lower left side of the page which contained an alphabetical list of my different page names. Each page had a box next to it. I ticked off each box in the order I wanted them to appear (left to right) on my landing page, one at a time, and pressed Add to Menu each time. I then went to the top left of the screen, and in the area where it said “Main Navigation” I clicked on the box to the right, saw the word “Primary” drop down, and selected that. Then I saved everything. Worked like a charm.
