Support » Theme: WPFolio » [Theme: WPFolio] How to "hide" a page and hide page title

  • Hi
I need to create pages that will be actually published but shouldn’t be visible by visitors within my website.
    To better explain:
I need to create a page (named: A) that will work as a “landing page” for visitors that will come to page A after clicking on a Google Adword ad. This page A should have my website url/A but should not appear in the website.
What if I create a page but don’t create its related menu item?
Also I’d like to remove from pages the visibility of page title
    Thanks to all

  • Why don’t you use an html file for your landing page? Something like

That will be independent of WP and you can design it as you please. That way it will not show up on your website as it is an independent html file.

    Hi Peter
    thanks for your contribution.
The one you outline is surely a viable option but staying within the WP environment I would have the opportunity to take advantage of all WP features (plugins, etc).

Install Simon Wheatley’s Exclude Pages from Navigation plugin or use a custom menu to prevent certain pages appearing on the menu.

To remove the Page title, copy the page.php or page-fullwidth.php to create a new page template ( see: ) called something like ‘landingpage.php’ & delete out the everything between

    <h2 class="pagetitle"> & </h2>

Then select this template when making your landing pages and deselect the “include this page in navigation menus” which the plugin adds to the page editor.

    Hi cubecolour
    just grand!
