try:
-deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin.
-switching to the unedited default theme (twenty eleven) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.
Heyt-p
Thanks for the prompt reply. Unfortunately I have already tried your suggested solution without any success. This problem was posted on a few forums 2 years ago and I was hoping with the latest version of the Theme the problem would have been rectified but it hasn’t.
I’ll continue to enquire wherever I can for a solution.
Thanks anyway

Just to Elaborate …
If I type “s” into the search and press <enter> I get my localhost Wamp page with the following URL: http://localhost/?s=s.
Just thought that might help…
Any help would be awesome
Thanks
Sean.
