  • What browser are you using? I don’t see anything wrong on chrome.

    I am using IE 8 and the second line of black type with the words “in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa” are overlapped by my menu bar.

    Thanks for your quick response 🙂

    Is it on the homepage? I’m not seeing it. I don’t see “”in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa””

    Ok, I’ve moved my header graphic to the left and you should be able to see my problem.

    Thanks

    On line 159 in your css, give it a height. Something like the height of the image + height of your menu.

    Cool but please bear with me here – rather new at this. You’re referring to the style.css or admin.css? Also I don’t have line numbers … is there a trick to switching them on? Am working through the editor in WordPress.

    style.css, There is none in WordPress editor. In your editor look for:

    #header {
    float: left;
    width: 920px;
    vertical-align: top;
    position: relative;
    margin-top: 0px;
    }

    And change it to

    #header {
    float: left;
    width: 920px;
    vertical-align: top;
    position: relative;
    margin-top: 0px;
    height: (whatever height in pixels);
    }

    Awesome! Found it in style.php actually. One last thing to get it perfect, how do I center the image?

    Change:

    #header img {
    width: 520px;
    height: auto;
    margin-left: 10px;
    }

    to

    #header img {
    width: 520px;
    height: auto;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    display: block;
    }

    You’ve made my day!

    Thanks so much. Would never have been able to sort it out by myself.

    LOL. Good luck!

    Brian
