I want to have theme only for my booking system. There should be nothing else on website expect the booking system.

I have tried to create my own codes with nothing and upload it to WordPress. But when I create a page with the booking system, nothing showed up.

What should I write to create a theme, where it is possible to see the plugin (booking system)?

I really hope that you could help me.

    Best regards,
    Philip from Denmark

  • You can use any theme to display your booking system. I would suggest that if you just want to display a booking system that you use a simple theme like Twenty Sixteen or Twenty Twelve.

    Hi Matthew,

Thanks a lot for your answer 🙂

I have tried that. But it doesn’t work. Do you know, how I could code the theme myself?

Respectfully, you don’t really want to code a theme yourself. If you were capable of doing that well, you wouldn’t be asking. I’m not saying you are incapable, but that properly coding a theme is a very complex task.

I believe what you want to do is code a child theme, which in contrast is very easy. Starting with the parent theme’s templates, remove all that is unnecessary, saving the custom templates with your child theme. This you are certainly capable of doing 🙂

    Thanks a lot, bcworkz!

I deleted almost everything in the “editor” expect some important codes.
And I removed “Proudly powered by WordPress” by clinking on footer.php and afterwards I deleted the text.

    Thanks!
