    Hello all,

I'm trying to look for a theme that has a customizable, drop down menu, option for a custom header, that works in IE. I use Firefox, but unfortunately most visitors do not use Firefox.

The Jillij theme has 2 out of 3 - the menus are not viewable in IE:

Ahimsa is beautiful, but does not support a custom header:

These two websites are gorgeous, but don't know if you can add a custom theme:

    http://www.ndesign-studio.com/resources/wp-themes/glossyblue/

I started with the Rounded theme from http://www.itcouldbethisone.com (the one available on WordPress.com) but it messed up the custom image - and the above webpage is not working anyway to download a new theme.

Any thoughts? I need a theme that is colorful (graduate education website focusing on children), that allows a custom header, with side menus, that works on IE.

There are many to choose from. You can edit to add a custom image or header but you need to know php. It might be best to consider purchasing a theme that has more functions built into it and has a well developed documentation package for things such as how to add a large header.

Yes, i would said the same. Better buy pro than treying to build (if you don't have any knowledge), Search google for elegant themes (price good and themes nice)

happy5, apologies for the late response, but I am the author of Ahimsa and I can help you with any customisation questions you have. There is already a post on my blog that details how you can change the header: http://ahren.org/code/bit/how-to-add-an-image-in-the-ahimsa-theme-header.

Please be warned though that any changes you make to theme files should be backed up, since an upgrade of the theme from within WordPress will perform a fresh install, nuking all your changes.
