Hi Gergely,
You can get the ID of a specific menu item (so you can target it with CSS) by inspecting the code of your navigation menu. I personally prefer Firebug (an extension for Firefox) but all major browsers have a code inspector built-in. Here are some resources to learn more about inspecting your site’s styles:

If you have any trouble determining what ID to target, respond to let me know which menu item you want to change, and I’ll be happy to help further.
Hope this helps!
Hi Christi,
Thank You for your reply. I am quite new to the whole web designing thing, as you can see.
I want to change the “Gyerkőcökkel Suttogó” menu item to a different color, (in every page) but anytime I try, it will be crossed out. I’ve read, in this case something is overriding it, but it’s over my current knowledge, how to solve it.
Thank you for your help, i really appreciate it!
Hi Gergely,
The id of that particular menu item is menu-item-4381, so you would select that link in your styles with:
#menu-item-4381 a
It looks like you found another way as well, as that menu item is now a different color from the other links in your navigation menu. If not, please respond with what’s not happening that you would expect to see. If you resolved this, please mark the thread as resolved.
Thanks!
Thanks again, it is working!
