[Theme: TwentyFourteen] "For each article in a feed summary" setting not working

    The setting “For each article in a feed, show” in Settings -> Reading doesn’t work in the theme TwentyFourteen. It always shows full text no matter how this setting is set. And what I can see in the content.php the theme only shows the excerpt (summary) when searching. Is this a bug or a “feature”?
