    Hi,

    I'm custemizing the twentyfourteen theme for my blog. I use a child theme of course. My question is pretty simple; wou do i change the "Continue Reading ››" to something else when i use excerpts in the blog feed. In what file do i find the "Continue Reading ››" part. Also, is it possiple to make it in to a button instead of text?

    big thank you!

    Try this http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_excerpt
    You could filter the_excerpt() and add the is_feed() conditional tag
    Something like this: (untested)

    add_filter( 'excerpt_more', 'wpsites_excerpt_more' );
    function wpsites_excerpt_more( $more ) {
    if ( is_feed() )
    	return ' <a class="read-more" href="'. get_permalink( get_the_ID() ) . '">' . __('Read More', '$text_domain') . '</a>';
    }

    Thank you, but i have no idea of how to use your code. There must be some line i can change somwhere in the themefiles, right?

    No. You add this to your functions file. Create a child theme first. http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

    Did you check you feed?

    It only applies to the feed because it uses the is_feed() conditional tag

    It was a plug in conflict that stoped my code change from working. Thanks any way!
