  • Hi guys,

So, I’m relatively new to this kind of thing – websitemaking and all. Luckily, I found a free WordPress theme that I really like, so that’s good. I tried to change a couple of things and succeeded in most of them, but I just can’t seem to get this one thing right..

It’s the navigation bar on top of the page ( It seems to me that the navigation bar is more on the left on the page than on the right. Either way, the navigation buttons aren’t in the center of the page. In the CSS style sheet, under “navigation bar” it says “center”, so it should be in the center.

If you can’t see the problem: try to make the window the site is in a bit smaller, than look at the top of the page and you’ll know what I mean.

How can I get that navigation bar to be in the center of the page? Thanks so much!

only seems to happen if the menu is condensed to a button size in very narrow browsers.

try using a browsers inspection tool to investigate the formatting of the nav bar in narrow browsers.

as this does not happen with the default Twenty Twelve theme, it got probably introduced in the styles of the child theme.
you might need to contact the developer of that child theme for support.

as the theme is not from, it is not supported in this forum.
