[resolved] [closed] [Theme: Twenty Ten] Since update "Set Featured Image" hangs (7 posts)

I recently updated a site to both WP3.4 and also the latest theme update for Twenty Ten. I use a child theme for modification of twenty ten. I used the automatic updates as the site is live and gets thousands of hits per day. Now when my editors try to post a new article and set the featured image, it hangs on "saving". It hangs for me too with admin status. Anyone got any hints?

Nice to see so many people jump in an help with this </sarcasm>...

Anyhow, as it appears to be a wordpress core issue rather than a theme issue, any follow-up should go to the miscellaneous thread I've started:

    Closing this thread as resolved.

Bulletproof Security was named as a suspected conflict on another thread, but since I used Ultimate Security Checker instead I tried disabling that.

Interesting: The "Saving..." link is still hung. But when I close the dialog window and save the post, the featured image shows up right where it should.

    Another clue, perhaps.

I have followed all suggestions to no avail. Has anyone gotten this resolved? I keep searching the posts in hopes of a solution....

If a solution is found it would be nice to know where to look.

I haven't had a chance to dig further into this for a while, but it's only a problem in one of our two multi-site installations. They're both running the same version of everything, and a similar grouping of plug-ins.
