• Hi all,

I have a custom theme based on TwentyTen. Instead of calling my blog a ‘blog’, I’ve called it a ‘journal’ and my posts are displayed in a section called this that the user can click through to from the homepage. It’s here. I also have a section called ‘Photo Essays‘, and posts appear here when I use a single post template. Under ‘Reading Settings’, I have ‘Posts Page: Blog’.

My problem is that there seems to be something somewhere overriding my attempts to change the settings here. Though I have indicated, ‘Blog pages show at most 20 posts’, it stays at Five. I have also tried to change For each article in a feed, show ‘For each article in a feed, show Full text’ instead of ‘… Summary’, but this doesn’t happen. And when I post a new photo essay, this also shows up in the summary, even though I want only journal items to appear here. For example, see here. Of the first two items, one is a photo essay and the other is my journal article introducing the photo essay. I only want the journal item to appear here.

Does anyone know what is overriding my settings and how I might fix this?

    Thanks!

    Robin
