My default Theme = Twenty Nineteen, onboard is

BUT nothing is onboard my menu’s are empty

I change to Twenty Seventeen same result, menu’s are empty
All the time they display POST Hello world, nothing more

QST How do I get the default menu’s structure
Hope somebody can help me out…

  • Twenty Seventeen does not show a fallback menu, but it does provide a ‘Top Menu’ and a ‘Social Menu’ in the starter content. It also provides the pages you listed as starter content.

Twenty Nineteen does not provide starter content, and only outputs a menu if there is one assigned.

These two themes do not show the standard fallback menu from WordPress, which is a list of Pages. You can create a menu of all the Pages by selecting all Pages and click on Add to Menu. There is also a checkbox for adding new Pages to the menu automatically.

Better to have the menu structure already onboard
Is it wp-policy to have this menu structure not onboard (5.2.3)?

I’m not sure what you mean with this, but WordPress does not actually create the front end page. It only provides the functions to call. The theme is in charge of what shows on the front end and how it is styled. The plugins can influence that also.
WordPress provides the menu function, and the default value for the fallback menu (for when no menu is chosen) is for all the Pages, but the theme can override that default. A lot of themes do not use the default fallback.
No menu is created by default. That is up to the user, since it is content. It has always been this way.

    For what problem?

Hello Joy, thanks for your reply, agree with you

    My solution is as follow:
01 Start and create a new wordpress installation, don’t run
02 Explore your files > wordpress > content > themes
03 Delete theme twentysixteen and twentynineteen
04 Keep twentyseventeen (will be auto as default)
05 Run dashboard and Customize your site
06 Goto Site Identity and Upload a image (Icon)
08 On dashboard click on visit site
09 Home About Blog Contact, menu structure is present
