  • Hi, I am working with Twenty Eleven and am down to the last handful of tweaks. One is trying to change the width of the content area and can’t quite get there.“> I would like the to be wider overall (closer to the navigation. I have tried a few things already but can’t affect it.

    Then I am having ipad issues. Where my header doesn’t line up with the bottom portion. Maybe that is a different topic.

  • You can change that by changing the left margin in the following CSS code (line 182):

    .left-sidebar #content {
        margin: 0 7.6% 0 34%;
        width: 58.4%;

    The 34% is what you need to change — try 25% or so and see if that’s what you want.

    Thanks. I had another error (a double character) that was blocking things from working right. Once I fixed that your code worked great. Thanks alot.

    Can you give me any ideas about the ipad? I have tried to make some changes using responsive structure in my child theme. I can’t get the colored background and the header images to fill the space.

    Hi, I am looking for a way to fix some issues I am having when viewing the site on both an iphone and ipad. The banner images are not filling the space (width) while everything else on the page is.

    I think it will be obvious if you can get a look at in on one of these devices.

    Any ideas?
