    Hi there! 🙂
“Omega” is already the the title of an existing theme, which is now trying to update itself to THIS theme in the WP Dashboard. (The WP Dashboard shows that there’s a new version of that theme, and it leads you to THIS theme.) That one has been around since 2010, but is awaiting final coding before *official* release. You can see it here: http://www.alphaila.com/articles

An existing theme in the WordPress.ORG repository?

I’m not sure what the problem is here. Theme name clashes are bound to occur from time to time – especially as we cannot control what developers outside of WPORG choose to name their themes. If the name is not taken by a pre-existing theme in http://wordpress.org/themes/ and complies with all the relevant WPORG theme guidelines, then a developer is free to submit a theme with that name – irrespective of what may (or may not) exist outside of wordpress. org.

I can only suggest that you rename your non-WPORG theme if you wish to avoid update notices.
