# [Theme: Thematic] Submenu Alignment

 * I have tried literally all day to edit my main drop down menu at [http://www.leenb.com](http://www.leenb.com),
   have read so many forum posts and CSS tips that my brain is melting, and I have
   gotten nowhere. I’m a newbie, so hopefully someone can help me out.
 * My goal is to have a menu similar to the “Categories” dropdown at [Fashion Squad](http://www.fashionsquad.com/)
   blog. Aligned with the left of the main label and a highlight gray for the active
   one.
 * Currently my menu’s drop down text is super left of its main label, which I’ve
   seen in other posts but trying to apply those solutions doesn’t have an effect
   on my site. And the color of the active element doesn’t react when I try to change
   it. I have a hunch that it’s all being dictated by some line of code somewhere
   that I don’t know about, because when I copy/paste in from forums/other sites’
   styles/menu builder tools, it either does nothing or only changes slightly. It
   also needs a line height increase but I can probably figure that out if someone
   can help with the other problems.
