[Resolved] [Theme: The Bootstrap] Is it possible to make fixed grid system?

  • <div class="row">
      <div class="span4">...</div>
      <div class="span8">...</div>
    </div>

    As I understand you use fixed grid in your theme, but it adapts to display resolution. That’s why it is difficult to insert google banners. The markup looks different at any resolution. How to make it fixed? In which files should I make corrections? I compared the site inoffside.com via iPad and my PC. Looks absolutely different.

    Hi Evengar,

    currently the best way to do this would be to create a child theme and replace the base /css/bootstrap.css file with you own version without the responsiveness part.

    This will become a lot easier in the next version, when you just need to dequeue the responsive stylesheet, since it’ll be separate from the rest.

    So.. how to make max width 980px? i dont want it to stretch more then that 😀

    Nevermind! i got it :D. I just made custom css in bootstrap and not included large desktop.. replacet bootstrap.min.css with that new one :D.
