The Bootstrap
[resolved] Font Awesome integration (3 posts)

I'd like to use Font Awesome icon set in place of Glyphicon default set.

I see here (http://fortawesome.github.com/Font-Awesome/) that the "cleanest" way to do that should be modifying and recompiling .less file present in default bootstrap file structure.

As far as I can see, in The Bootstrap theme there's no .less file.
The alternate way is to include Font Awesome via css file, but I need to exclude Glyphicon set to avoid conflicts and can't find a way to "deregister" it.

    Any hint?

I think the best way for you to tackle this would be to deregister the bootstrap.css that comes with The Bootstrap in a Child Theme and reregister a version without the icon references.

Let me know how this worked out for you!

Thank you Konstantin, I'm pretty sure this works, but I prefer to keep original bootstrap.css link and be safe for future updates.

    Keep up the good work!
