Theme Text Widget

  • I’m creating a theme and I want to be able to drag Text Widgets into my sidebars, but without any kind of Title! I’m using the text as a horizontal menu list.

Can someone give the code that creates the text widget, but also the code that creates the user Configure option on the widget page. I was unable to find all the code myself to recreate it correctly, this is why I’m asking for the code.

I’m basically wanting to recreate the default text widget that comes with WordPress, but in a theme. Thanks!

  • I found the whole code, but my new theme code is still going to the original text widget Database spot, how do I change this?

Basically I have two sets of Text Widgets, one in WordPress Includes and the other in my Theme. I’m editing the one in the theme so it does another set of text widgets with special functions, how do I get this new theme text widget to save to a different place in the WordPress Database?

    hello?
