# Slideshow and number of posts

 * I will probably choose the Sydney theme for my food blog.
 * However, there are only two problems that I want to solve before:
 * 1. In my old theme I have configured an extensive slideshow with 42 photos with
   the plugin MetaSlider. How do I add this slideshow to the header in Sydney?
 * 2. How do I increase the number of blog posts published on the home page so that
   more of them are published?

 * As checked, it looks like you’ve been using a child theme to add an extra slider
   script to the header.

 * You can increase the number for **Blog pages show at most** option under the **

 * I have integrated the PHP code of the slider into the header.php. The slider 
   is now displayed.
 * And also I could solve the number of posts on the front page via Settings-> Read.
