# Theme switching problem

 * My theme is showing up in Appearance >> Themes but when I click on it, the system
   starts by going to the usual preview screen but then changes to the actual screen
   with my theme and the uri in the browser showing;
 *  [http://repod.org.uk/wordpress/?preview=1&template=repod2&stylesheet=repod2&#038](http://repod.org.uk/wordpress/?preview=1&template=repod2&stylesheet=repod2&#038);
 * If I try entering a uri of http/repod.org.uk/wordpress, then I get the default
   theme.
 * At the moment the admin system won’t let me switch to me theme.
 * Can someone please point me in the direction of the likely problem?

 * You may face this theme switching issue due to plugins..please disable all the
   plugins and have a check with the wordpress theme.
 * Once the theme is changed..activate all the required plugins.

 * There are no active plugins.
 * This error message appears in Firebug. Might help.
 * Components is not defined

 * I wish ukgeoff2 had posted his resolution. I’m having the same problem now and
   it’s been driving me nuts.
