[Theme: Suffusion] Custom Post Type Integration

The Suffusion theme is excellent, but it falls far short when it comes to Custom Post Type Integration.

Namely, it fails to permit you to include custom post types into the main page along with regular posts. Come to think of it, you can’t have more than one post type on any page!

Suggestion: Add the option to select more that one post type using the Custom Post Type Archive temple AND add the option to add more than one post type on the index page.

Question: How do I implement these features myself?
