I don’t know what caused this. At first I thought it was caused by a Caching plugin or something but I have deactivated it, and flushed my caches and I’m still having this problem.

For some reason, my theme style.css file is being loaded in my admin menu, and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s due to the way I enqued it or something?

  • It’s very possible that it’s the way that you’ve enqueued it. Can you share the code that you’ve used so we can see it for ourselves?

That was indeed the cause. I did some extra reading and realized that it wasn’t being caused by my plugin, but rather by the enqueing I had done. I didn’t register my styles so they would be injected every single page.
