Theme style changes when assigning to post site

Hi,

I have a single site that I am assigning to be the site where to post show up. The post’s show up great, no problem at all. The problem is however, that the page stops using the template assigned to the page as I assign it to be my default post page.

I’ve tried to change the template php file and nothing happens, not on the page however. I change the template name and the template name changes also in the wordpress-admin-panel, so it’s not a cache or FTP problem. When I set my posts to appear on another page however, the template makes its changes and works as normal.

Hope you understand what I mean. Really weird. I’m thinking that many another template is interfering but i cannot find what this template could be.
