[Theme: Spun] Circle Gallery

I’ve newly installed WP 3.5.1, Caroline Moore’s Theme Spun and the Fluid Responsive Slideshow Plugin 0.93. I don’t have any experience with WP and this is my first try.

All works like a charm expect the galleries. I’ ve read the post http://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-with-galleries-show-the-galleries-twice?replies=20 but I’didnt get it work at all. At first all images are shown twice. Above in cricles as i expected, below as pictures of my post. After deleting the pictures in my post the first two circles remains? I deleted the post and started a new one. Now i don’t get any circles.

I think my man problem is that i don’t know how to upload images to a post. I can upload images to the media or insert them into the post. But how can i upload images to an post?
