    Modifications to themes not custom will erase once the theme updates.
    To avoid losing your changes in future, use a Child Theme.

    I know that now, but I am using a child theme, which should preserve my changes. The problem is I used a posting that showed how to make the desired changes, but the code seems to be changed so the hack won’t work anymore. I am good making edits to programs, but not advanced enough to be able to figure out how these php programs work…yet…
