    I recently updated my theme from 1.6 (I think) to 1.9. I made a template to have no sidebar on my old theme but the new theme doesn't work with the old one. I'm not sure what to do, so can anyone help me make a template with no sidebar for a single page?

  2. sidebar is gone already -
    so you just need the css fix to stretch the content area;

    for example:

    .page-template-pagenosidebar-php #content { width: 100%; }

    Thank you. I finally figured out how to take the sidebar out, but couldn't figure out how to stretch it.

    Hi there,
    I'm trying to figure out how to remove the sidebar and stretch the content - I'm a pretty novice editor - can you tell me where I need to delete the code and where I need to add it? Thanks
