So I’ve been looking for an answer to this for a while now, and as much as I try I can’t find one. Long story short is that every time I try to update the theme options to the completely up-to-date Simple Catch theme I am using they end up backfiring on me and reverting all of the options back to the defaults. Even the feature slider, which does work, deactivates whenever I hit the save button on any of the theme option panes. For example, I am unable to change the logo unless I actually FTP into my website and make sure the default file path leads to the logo I want to use. So while that problem I’m actually able to fix, I can’t figure out how to deal with the social links which I also want to use on my site. Everything I am using is up to date. I have taken the basic steps like re-installing the theme and deleting all non-essential plugins. Now I simply don’t know what to do next and I don’t want to have to resort to FTP every time I want to make a quick fix.
My site: healritept.com
If anyone can figure out the problem, please let me know. This site is for my Cousin’s small Physical Therapy Clinic which we are trying to market within our community, and I want the website to be one less thing for him to worry about.
There was some problem while saving the theme options. This problem existed only in some of the servers(looks like yours is one of them). We have fixed this problem and submitted version 18.104.22.168 to wordpress.org which will be available within few days.
So, when this update will be available, please update to it and your problem will be solved.
