Theme Simple Catch: Text Column Width on Home Page

Hi,

Issue:
On the Homepage the gap between the Post text and Post image is large, need to reduce that please.

Background:
I am an absolute beginner and have just started using WP on my site (www.aashishjindal.com) in Jan 2014.

I am using the Theme Simple Catch version 2.6.7

I have made a few changes by editing CSS (and i know which is not recommended for amateurs but I have some basic coding experience).

This has gone well mostly – i have changed the image size shown for every post on the home page but cannot figure out how to change the column width such that the Post title and brief move closer (left) to the image.
