  • You could create a custom menu that omits that Page.

Thanks esmi, but how would that stop it appearing in the top menu? The shiword theme options don’t offer any control over the top menu.

I want to add a ‘Thank you’ page that should only be accessible on return from paypal after a donation is made. It’s currently made private, but on return from paypal I get a 404 error.

how would that stop it appearing in the top menu?

Because it would only appear there if you deliberately added it. Did you have a look at the page I linked to?

Hi esmi – yes I did. I’ve used custom menus before. The problem with the shiword theme is that the top menu is there by default, without any form of control (as far as I can see).

If you take a look at my site: simplesiteaudit
you will see that I don’t use a side bar menu, I rely on the top menu entirely.

When a page is created (unless it’s made private), its link automatically appears in the top menu.

The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking for assistance on http://twbrs.net/prj
