Yeah that not the issue, I have inspected the element with FireBug and when the code generates the footer / script content for the bottom of the page it generates a image tag. I need to find where in the WordPress files it is calling this to be displayed so I can delete that line of code.

I think it will be coming from your stats plugin – maybe Jetpack or WP Stats.

I use the same theme and I don’t have no smiley face on the bottom. What is your sites url?

Maybe that is it, on the image tag it has a id=”wpstat”. Is there any way to turn this off?

If you are using Jetpack, configure wordpress.com stats, and make sure check the box that says “Hide the stats smiley face image.”
