[Theme: Progress] Copyright area mimics footer area

“Progress” theme allows for columns in the footer area, so that you can use several widgets side by side if you want. The trouble is, whatever choice you make is reflected in the copyright area just below it. I have two widgets (and columns) in my footer area, but I would like the copyright area to just have one so that the copyright info can extend across the page in one line. Anyone know a script I can add to the css to make this happen?
