I am having a problem on one of my WP sites that is using a grid theme.

I am expanding the site now and adding more content. Originally the grid only amounted to one index page worth of content. But now I am adding more stuff so I have to continue over to a multiple of index pages with a “next” at the bottom of each page.

As you click next and onto the second page everything is fine, but after the second page, as you get into page 3, page 4, etc it starts to replace the name of the website up at the top where the name of the site normally shows the site name in the browser tab and replaces it with the words “Nothing found for page” followed by the page number.

But the pages load fine and the content is all there on the page. So it seems maybe there is something perhaps in the theme coding which tells the theme that the site has only 2 index pages, but somehow it lets it still display the content anyway on the pages after that.

I don’t know if that really is the issue. It is just a guess. But I have never seen this happen before and I can’t find any other posts from other people with a similar problem.

Has anyone come across this before or know what might be causing the issue perhaps?

Any direction on this would be much appreciated.

    Cheers…

I figured out this issues I was having was a problem with my settings under Reading and nothing to do with the theme. The setting for the number of posts on the “Blog pages show at most” was to a number that was too high and this was causing a 404 error after the second page of posts.
