Theme problem: cannot add page to menu?! Huh??

    Hi There!

    I always try solving my problems without posting to the forum, but today my site drives me SO insane that I see no other way :s I really hope some genius here can help me…

    When I try to add a page to my (custom) menu, the loader-image appears and then nothing happens. It just keeps on loading forever (well, I didn;t try forever yet, but for a long long time at least!). No page refreshes or anything else.

    I de-activated all the plugins: no change. I changed me custom theme to twenty twelve, and hey! It worked again! So it has something to do with the theme…

    But how does a theme influence this function in wordpress?

    I did update to version 3.5.1 not so long ago, so maybe it has something to do with that maybe? (from 4.9 I believe…)

    A custom theme based on the Timeline theme (http://www.timeline-wp.com).

    These forums only provide support for themes from the repository on this site, so if it’s a theme problem, the help we can offer is quite limited. How old is your version of it?

    Oh I wasn’t aware of that, sorry.

    I have the newest version from it.

    Maybe we should make the question easier then for now. Right now I don’t know where to start looking, so it would help me to know where to look:
    1. Which files/functions from within a theme are used when adding a page to a menu?
    2. Which of these are changed in the new wordpress version 3.5?

    Question 1 is specific to your theme, you can refer back to WPyogi’s response regarding support for themes on these repository.

    That theme appears to be at least 2-3 years old – a lot has changed in that time –

    Ahhh shit. That’s quite a lot of log’s…

    I guess I have to find another forum then. Thanks anyway..
