    The first step towards browser compatibility is validation.

    I’m not sure I really know how to change the mistakes that it showed. Any tips?

    Here’s a nice article and resource for WordPress validation.

    Here’s an explanation of all errors generated from the W3C validator tool.

    Thanks for your help so far. I have eliminated some of the errors, but this one is really confusing. I looked it up in the html code for the site and it looks correct.

    Error Line 312, Column 23: Element style not allowed as child of element p in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)

    <style type=”text/css”>

    Contexts in which element style may be used:
    If the scoped attribute is absent: where metadata content is expected.
    If the scoped attribute is absent: in a noscript element that is a child of a head element.
    If the scoped attribute is present: where flow content is expected, but before any other flow content other than inter-element whitespace, and not as the child of an element whose content model is transparent.
    Content model for element p:
    Phrasing content.

    On line 312 (of the relevant file), is there anything relating to the error? If not, it could be generated by a plugin and therefore may need to be disabled to find whether it is causing the issue.
