[Theme: Parquetry] continue reading link missing

I have the excerpt editor plugin which works great. However I just noticed that when I click on a category link, the posts within the category view are displayed properly as the excerpts I created but they are missing the link that reads “continue reading” that leads to the rest of the article. So without that link, it appears that the article simply ends in the middle of a sentence. Does anyone know how to fix this?
