• I am building a custom header using Gutenberg.

Since I can’t use Gutenberg directly from the Library I am creating a page.

On this page I use several add-on blocks. I can build what I want. Then view as HTML and copy/paste this just fine to the library.

It fails when I add a short code widget in the Gutenberg editor. In the page it works fine but I have have a short code field when I view as HTML and then copy/paste to the my library editor it fails to save.

    [oceanwp_nav position=”center”]

That is the shortcode I cannot add. It works fine in the page.

it’s only when I copy/past the HTML to the library that I cannot save it.

I am guessing it’s the [] around the shortcode. Do I need to change the coding?

Actually I can’t save that short code even on a regular page…..

I also tried to set the shortcode on the My Library page in the Edit Template area for the OceanWP Settings. I put the shortcode in the Shortcode After Header box.

    It doesn’t work.
