    Hello,

    I love Pachyderm and am using it for a baby blog. I have one question, however.

    When someone comments on a post, right now there is no way for other visitors to see that there are comments unless they click on the icon to see and post comments. Is there any way I can change this?

    Thanks,
    Valerie

  • <?php comments_popup_link('No Comments »', '1 Comment »', '% Comments »'); ?>

    Create a child theme and add that into your loop. If your not worried up updates then just modify your theme.

    Thank you. I will try that.

    No problem!

    Could you please explain what you mean by “adding that into the loop.” I can’t figure out where to put that line of code.

    Thank you,
    Aaron

    Hi Aaron. You can put that code in content.php, wherever you want the comments link to appear.

    Just override CSS with :

    span.comments-link a {
    color: #fff;
    display: block;
    width: 100%;
    height: 100%;
    text-indent: -60px;
    color: gray;
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    enjoy! 😀
