[Theme: Oxygen] 2 things: Kill style output, and 2 column layout?

Hi all, bumping isn’t allowed, nor does it work, so ..

The theme is outputting a <style> section in the header of the site which I do not want; ideally just stop that function all together? Link

And, I’m close to having a two column template but my primary-sidebar is missing its content? Link

I’m hacking away, but hoped somebody could show me which direction to hack in for the best results… thank you ,. ..
