[Theme: Origin] Can't change to make custom header more than 200px (2 posts)

I'm not very familiar with WordPress and I want to add a custome graphics header onto my site (www.611forum.com)

I tried just uploading the file under Appearance> Theme Settings but every time I do it, it is automatically shrunk to 200px.

I've also tried changing the widths within the HEADER section of the style sheet but that didn't work either.

I've even tried doing this (link) where you can add code to make the header flexible but no avail.

I need to figure this out as it is for a school club, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

First of all, what you currently have right now is wrong, there is something you did wrong ( for example., the meta tag and link to css should be in <head> not inside <body> ) You have to fix this first.

All the modifications must be done via childtheme, so you have to create a childtheme for this. http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

The logo's width is something adjustable but it's designed that way and already look good that way. The author of this theme has a dedicated support forum, you will surely get faster and more to the point support over there.
