[Theme Origamiez] language problems

hi everyone

Since file in /languages doesn’t seem to work. Therefore I had to change the languages in functions.php:

function origamiez_comment_form($args = array(), $post_id = null) {…}

However, upon every update this file is overriden. How can I prevent this function from being overriden? I’m using a child of the origamiez template.
