# Theme or question

 * Yes I am new to wordpress and was wondering on my blog I have all my post in 
   categories but they are also showing up on the home page of my blog. I thought
   once I put them into categories and put the categories in my menu bar at the 
   top of the screen the post would no longer be on the home page. I guess what 
   I am trying to do is have a static home page is that possible?
