Support » Plugin: Editor Menu and Widget Access » Theme Options are not visible

  • Hi,
I’m using Divi Theme in Multisite-Installation. I would like to hide the Menu “Design/Themes, Design/Customizer, Design/Widgets, Design/Menu, Design/Background” but not “Design/Theme Options” (works with options framework plugin). But it’s not working. Do you have a solution?

    Thanks

    Hi Arkakus,

Are the Theme Options visible to Editors when this plugin is inactive? If not, then they can’t be made visible.

This plugin can hide certain theme options from Editors and show the default items in the Appearance menu, but it can’t show third-party menu items that have been hard-coded to be hidden from Editors.

    Hi,

the editor is able to see the theme options if I deactivate the plugin “Editor Menu and Widget Access”. If I open “Design / Editor Access” the checkbox Design is visible but inactive. I can’t activate it. The Theme Options have a checkbox I can activate but it has no effect because they won’t be shown.
You can see this in the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/ke4vyw
