Hi there. I'm new to WP.

Bought a new theme, installed it successfully and custmozied. Then found out that need the site in three languages. I went through the whole procedure of creating Network and Multisite stuff. My wordpress is installed in root folder, I installed the "blogs.dir" also in root foolder. Hosting is on godaddy.

The problem is on my http://www.xxxx.com/language subsite my theme is not working (mediacontent, styling etc.). It just shows some buttons, titles. I googled about the issue, didn't find any solution so far.

    Here is my .htaccess file:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L]
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?siteN/files/(.+) wp-content/blogs.dir/N/files/$2 [L]

    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]
    # END WordPress

    Any clues?

    Thank you in advance.

    Blogs.dir belongs in /wp-content/

Are you on GoDaddy's Linux or Windows hosting?

Yes, offcourse /wp-content and not the root folder. It was a misprint.

    I'm on GoDaddy's Windows hosting.

    Still couldn't solve the problem.

    Negotiare,

If you're using Go Daddy's Windows hosting, your .htaccess file will have no effect on your content.

My first recommendation would be to move to Linux OS: http://go.me/VW

We have an article regarding how to enable WP Multisites here: http://go.me/VV

If you'd like someone to take a look at your specific URL, you can either post it here, or contact support if you'd be more comfortable that way: http://x.co/heretohelp
